Kenting National Park
Kenting National Park (No.596, Kenting Road, Hengchun Township, Pingtung County) – this is Taiwan’s first and southernmost national park (established in 1984). This park is famous for its unique sceneries, and sunny tropical climate throughout the year. Kenting Park’s landscape is divided into two long and narrow parts, with mountains in the north and south with coral tablelands. Along the park’s beaches and bay, adventurous and interesting water activities are available such as scuba diving, banana boat, water scooter, submarine, and coastal diving.
A big event is held here every April called ““Spring Scream”. That festival showcases a variety of musical artists from Taiwan and abroad. During that time of year, other musical events are held there as well. See the park’s website for more info: www.ktnp.gov.tw/eng/
