Buses — Taipei City has an efficient bus service. All buses display information (destinations and the names of stops) in English. Prices are low. An average ticket costs NT$ 15 (US$ .46 cents). Some buses serving long distance routes have a 2 time payment system. If you use the bus for nearly the whole route, than you have to pay when getting on the bus and when getting off the bus, otherwise you have either to pay when getting on or when getting off.
